Serenbe is entering an exciting new chapter in its public art story.
As Art Farm at Serenbe deepens its commitment to meaningful, accessible art in the landscape—including plans for a 10-acre sculpture park in Deer Hollow—we invite you to mark this moment with a special live-recorded conversation set among one of Serenbe’s most iconic works.
Acclaimed sculptor Curtis Patterson, creator of Serenity for Shango and a leading artist represented in Serenbe’s collection, joins The Atlanta Voice for an intimate, in-depth vodcast interview exploring his four-decade career.
Patterson’s work spans major public commissions across the United States and exhibitions internationally, all rooted in the belief that sculpture can connect people—to place, to history, and to one another.
Set at the Serenity for Shango site, this live-recorded conversation offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist as he reflects on the cultural symbolism and spiritual resonance that shape his practice. Through storytelling and dialogue, attendees will gain deeper insight into how public art transforms both landscape and community.
This is a free event. All are welcome to attend and listen in as the conversation is recorded live.
